Thinking About it...
Volunteers have several opportunities to help our Senior Citizens: Landscaping, helping with cleaning and other household tasks, moving furniture and other household items, visiting elderly, participating in activities to engage and entertain elders, etc.
18+ years (If volunteer is uner 18, Parent or Guardian Signature is required)
People who care about people
Bilingual helpful but not required
Willingness to work with people from all backgrounds
Visiting residents face-to-face requires patience and sympathy
Helping with household tasks, cleaning, landscaping, and moving furniture requires physical mobility and ability to lift heavy items
Delivering food requires driver’s license and transportation (or bicycle with saddle bags) and ability to lift heavy boxes.
